finPOWER Connect 2.00.02 Released

We are pleased to announce the release of finPOWER Connect version 2.00.02.

Note, version 2 of finPOWER Connect can run side by side with version 1.x, i.e. you don't have to uninstall version 1.x.

Warning, System Requirements have changed, see System Requirements. In particular, Windows XP is no longer supported, and the .NET framework requirement is now version 4.5.

Some of the highlights are:

  • Clients.
    • New Client wizard now shows Client Name in Windows Title and Form tab.
    • Added support for NZ Business Numbers (NZBN).
  • Accounts.
    • Account Withdrawal, Refund and Payment Received wizards now includes Payment details from the Account in the list of Client Banking details (from the Payment Method dropdown).
    • Credit Limits; new "Other Deductions" value available via scripting when calculating Available Credit.
    • Credit Limits; new Permission Keys added to prevent users revising individual Credit Limits.
    • Standard Transactions now support User Data.
  • Task Manager.
    • Tasks grid now includes a drilldown column to open the Account, Client etc. (as opposed to the Log).
    • Workflows grid now includes "Account Type" column.
  • Workflows.
    • Wait and Review periods can now be defined as relative to other dates. E.g. relative to the number of Overdue Days, eg Wait until 30 days overdue.
  • Banking.
    • Australian BSB list updated to latest list.
  • Bank Statement Enquires.
    • Interface to DecisionLogic added. Allows Bank Statement information from an Applicant/ existing Client to be retrieved directly into finPOWER Connect.
  • Credit Enquiries.
  • Scripting.
    • New code "Snippets" functionality added.
    • New events added to handle additional processing requirements in:
      • Account Close.
      • Account Interest Cycle Change.
      • Account Payment Details update.
      • Account Statement Change.
      • Bank Transaction Commit.
      • Payment Reversal.
      • Statement Generation.
      • Statement Reversal.
      • Transaction Commit.
      • Transaction Reversal.
